New batting practice guideline

I was reading the new guidelines about batting practice. Does that mean if I have a top deck ticket, I can't enter during the field level during batting practice, seeing as the Left Field Box gates now open 1 1/2 hours prior to the game instead of 2 hours prior? It's changed from last year. I'm going to a game on Monday and I had intended on getting there early to attend batting practice in the left field box area. But if centerfield is all that is available, I may not arrive that early after all. I really enjoyed being able to enter the field level seats during batting practice last year. My favorite memory was being able to talk to Steve Lyons during one particular batting practice.
