The day has finally come to an end


Has the day ended better than it started? I guess so. Dodgers won! So, that's a plus. We got to the game really early, another plus. Our seats were awesome! They were better than I expected, so plus, plus. That's what ... up to 5 or so. Anyway, I think I was in a mood swing most of the day until after I got off work and got some food in me. Plus ... the lack of food plus certain circumstances equals a raging, ranting, madwoman.

Today's game was ... well ... wow... it's late an I have to be up in less than nine hours for a day game. Which, I'm really excited about. This one had no stressful strings attached. But, alls well that ends well. And today certainly did. Daniel gave in and went with us. So, phew. That ticket didn't go to waste after all. And let me say this, the seats were amazing! We had several foul balls hit our way, though mostly in front or behind us. Still... and the pictures I took ... awesome!

That's all I'm gonna post for now. I'll do the picture and game stuff later.

When the D-back outfielder's misjudged Furcal's double and let it drop between them
Russell sliding into third, knocking over the third baseman
Russell's at bat, when he twirled around, after narrowly missing getting hit by the pitch
Andre spitting sunflower seeds all around him, while blowing bubbles with his bubble gum

Refresh my memory, what tine did you work until yesterday and what time was the game yesterday? I'm so confused on the times here. For some reason I thought you worked until 11 last night? But you went to the game also? Oh dear...I think I'm loosing my mind.

I got off work at four, the game started at seven. We left Nina's house around six. Okay, a little before six because we got to the Stadium at six. Thanks! I love the pictures I got from these two games. I'll post most of them on Bebo and Flickr. Though Flickr may have more, because I may limit Bebo to one or two albums. Yeah. I know. Good luck with that.

Maybe now I won't feel so bad

I figure I'll get one or two mean/rude customers a week. Yesterday I got two in one day. Fortunately, I only had one today and it wasn't till the end of my shift. Well, I got home and I saw I had an e-mail from Groupon advertising their special for Dodger tickets for the two day games on Wednesdays during the next homestand. I thought about it. Last time I checked it out, it came up to 13.90 just for my ticket. I coughed up the $14 for the Saturday game anyway at the Stadium. If I go to the stadium to my tickets, I can get top deck seats for $12 instead of paying $14 for the reserve ticket. The Groupon says it's $7 but there's about an additional $7 in fees you still have to pay. Plus, if I go when the team is on the road, I get to see my favorite ticket seller. Talk about a Manic Monday

Long long day today. Where do I begin? First off, I had to report for Jury Duty today. As I wrote earlier. They let us go for lunch around 12. I went down to the Los Angeles Mall because there was a Carl's Jr in their food court. Line was too long by the time I got there. I even skipped taking the elevator down to the ground floor by taking the stairs instead. No wonder my calves were hurting! They still do a little. Add the new shoes that aren't the best for walking shoes plus lugging my laptop bag around... I ended up getting spaghetti that came with salad and a slice of wheat bread. Too bad I didn't walk around the food court more. I would've found the Sbarro and gotten that instead of the random little cafe type place I ended up at. At First Sight

I know it’s stupid and old-fashioned, but I’m one of those girls who like to be asked out by a guy. ” Julia Parker, pg 184 So, I just finished reading “At First Sight” for the umpteenth time. Last time I think I threw it against the wall. Don’t get me wrong. I love the story. I love Allie and Ben and Tim and Julia and Craig. I hate to be all “woe is me” in this entry… but man … that book sure brought on an onslaught of feelings. Mostly the kind where I feel hopeless. Of course I have been feeling hopeless for awhile now. It’s something that keeps coming back. It hasn’t gone away and I don’t know if it ever will. See… times like these I need another Parker figure in my life. That’s all I really need… really.
