So, I know I've gone over how customers shop with this "department store" mentality. It still hasn't changed because people still go into full fitting rooms when there are plenty of empty ones available. And then there are those who change in the hallway instead of a fitting room. We had one of those today. The lady had to been in her forties at the latest. And she was changing in the hallway. All the other customers were giving the one customer a weird look.
I've come across this other conclusion.
Wouldn't you prefer a clean, empty fitting room to one that has clothes all over it? Isn't it like going to a public bathroom? Wouldn't you prefer to have a nice, clean bathroom to one that is dirty and needs to be cleaned and flushed?
