Coffee boy has a name

It's another Juan!

Since I didn't see a copy of the L.A. times on my lawn this morning, I needed to get another newspaper. I went to the little mini-mart in the mall. 54 cents! Are you kidding me? Why do you feel the need to charge and extra 4 cents for tax? Anyway, I went to Gloria Jean's to get this week's mocha. Coffee boy saw the newspaper I was holding and asked me if I was going to use the rest of it. I had already pulled out the sports section and found Russie's picture! I asked him if he would like the crossword puzzle. He took the calendar section before I could grab my favorite comics. I asked the other lady what was his name, and she told me, Juan. Yay! After a year and half, I finally learn his name!

Oh Linda... you have so many "boys" that I can't keep track of them all!

I do read your blog. Although I will admit that I do get a little backed up with my blog-reading when it comes down to me finishing my homework or reading blogs. And the game recaps... I glance at them, but my eyes sorta start to glass over after a few minutes. I'm sorry.

LOL no problem Melina. The game recaps are mainly cuz I don't want to start up another blog just for Russie. Too many blogs to keep track of. Believe me, a year ago, I couldn't care less if the Dodgers were winning, cuz that just meant more traffic for me, who lives in their shadow

The weirdest thing

When I got in the shower this afternoon (it was like 2:45 EST) I was just waking up. Then as I looked down, I see this humongous purple thing on my ankle. As I try to scrub it off, it wasn't coming off. It was a bruise! Guys... there's a bruise on my ankle. Not only do I not know where in the world it came from, it looks like a smile. I should put two dots above my ankle to turn my bruise into a smiley face. The bruise itself is about two and a half inches long and mebbe half an inch wide. And the corners turn up, so it does look like a smile. At first, I was like, somebody tell me my cousin pranked me in the middle of the night by putting paint or something on my ankle. But as it wouldn't come off, it was like, oh goodness it's real. It's really a bruise.

Maybe now I won't feel so bad

I figure I'll get one or two mean/rude customers a week. Yesterday I got two in one day. Fortunately, I only had one today and it wasn't till the end of my shift. Well, I got home and I saw I had an e-mail from Groupon advertising their special for Dodger tickets for the two day games on Wednesdays during the next homestand. I thought about it. Last time I checked it out, it came up to 13.90 just for my ticket. I coughed up the $14 for the Saturday game anyway at the Stadium. If I go to the stadium to my tickets, I can get top deck seats for $12 instead of paying $14 for the reserve ticket. The Groupon says it's $7 but there's about an additional $7 in fees you still have to pay. Plus, if I go when the team is on the road, I get to see my favorite ticket seller.
